Corona virus – There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19.  The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet), through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

We have taken every precaution to keep our patients safe.  We have guidelines in place when patients come to use that have symptoms that we are concerned with.

During this time, as with any time, it is very important to keep your child healthy by keeping your well child appointments and vaccinate in a timely manner.  Please do not be concerned about coming to your regular appointments.  It is our job to keep you safe and we take every precaution we can to ensure that happens.

Clean your hands OFTEN!

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

During this time, with COVID 19 being such a big concern, we will be limiting the number of patients in out waiting room.

  • If more than 6 people are in the waiting room, we ask you to wait in your vehicle and call our office to check in and we will call you back when we are ready to room you.
  • We ask that you limit the number of people that come with you to your appointment to one other person, when needed, for patients such as children or the elderly.
  • During check in and check out we ask that you be aware and stay the requested 6ft away from any other patient.
  • If you have a regular follow up or wellness visit scheduled and are feeling ill, running fever and/or cough please call our office to adjust your appointment time.

As always, your safety and health are our biggest concern and we are taking all precautions when it comes to patients showing symptoms of any kind and we have guidelines and procedures set up for those patients.

Please know that we have adjusted our schedule to see patients with an illness at different times than patients being seen for regular appointments and wellness visits.

We also want our parents to know that we are taking precautions for your children coming in for their wellness visits. It is very important for your children to receive their vaccinations in a timely manner.

We are here to keep you safe and take that seriously.
Be assured that we have guidelines and procedures in place for all of our patients needs and seeing your physician for your regular appointments is still important even though you may have concerns.
